Axel’s Christening in Sunny Cheshire

Little 18-month old Axel had his christening in the snug town of Tarporley, Cheshire, a quiet little town that’s bursting with character! The weather was perfect and his parents, Alexis and Bjarne, had arranged a lovely celebration gathering for family and friends at the restaurant further down the road!

The service at St Helen’s Church flowed without a hitch and also no tears, once wrapped up, I managed to get some candid shots of the three of them outside the church, making the most of the sunny glow and the lush church brickwork in the background!

The gathering after the service was at No. 32, a modern and stylish hotel and restaurant further down the road from the church, Alexis had arranged a play area for Axel which was perfect for getting candid shots of him as he played with family and friends.
